51'-72' | Early Life

Griffit first encounter with Israeli art was at the Gordon Gallery in the early 1960s. At 1968 he transferred to Bezalel, where he was a student during the years 1968-1969. Among his teachers were John Byle, Pinchas Eshet and Ernest Fox. In the years 1969–1971 he lived in Florence, where he graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Fine Arts Academy, focusing on painting under Primo Conti, as well as drawing and etching.
